VIOLATIONS 7.L The parking of buses, motor homes, travel trailers, and like vehicles are prohibited from parking on Campus grounds. An exemption for an authorized event may be requested through Public Safety. If approved, Public Safety will assign a designated parking location. ALERTS: Crime Alert At 1536 hrs. Wednesday January 9th 2008, UAH Police arrested the suspect in this case and he is currently in the Madison County Jail. On the morning of January 8, 2008, an unknown male approached a student asking for assistance in jump-starting a vehicle off campus. The student agreed to help and drove the unknown male to an off campus location. The unknown male convinced the student to loan him a large sum of money and then drop him off at another location off campus. The suspect is described as an African American male, between 20 to 30 years of age, approximately 5’11’’ in height and 180 pounds in weight. He was last seen wearing a black coat, black slacks, and a dark colored skullcap. UAH Police urge any persons with information concerning this incident to contact UAH Police at 824-6911. All members of the University community are reminded if they see any suspicious activity to immediately call UAH Police at 824-6911 or 911. |
