Restricted Parking

1. Service Vehicle Parking spaces, service roads, and other service vehicle areas are reserved on a 24-hour basis exclusively for the use of service vehicles identified by the state license tag or recognized as a contractor's vehicle.
2. Twenty-Minute Parking spaces are reserved from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. No special permit is required for their use. These spaces should be used for loading, unloading, pickup, and delivery. Twenty-Minute Parking spaces in/around Southeast Housing and Central Residence Hall are restricted 7 days per week, 24 hours a day.
3. Visitor Parking spaces are for the exclusive use of University visitors between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekdays. UAH students and faculty/staff members may not use them during that time. Visitor Parking spaces in/around Southeast Housing, Central Residence Hall, and North Campus Residence Hall have a one-hour limit and are restricted 7 days per week, 24 hours a day.
4. Loading Zones are reserved exclusively for service activities and for state owned service vehicles. Permission can be obtained for personal vehicles to use these zones by calling the Department of Public Safety (824-6911) prior to usage. A fifteen-minute time limit will be enforced for personal vehicles.
